People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)

People have different motivations for intake a vegetarian diet. For many people, is a health problem. They need to reduce weight, reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, managing your blood sugar. A vegetarian diet helps to do so.

For others, it is also moral and ethical choice not to eat animal products. Through the centuries we have been accustomed to thinking of man as superior to all other animals on the planet. We use animals for food, clothing, shoes, belts and other accessories. We use them for scientific experiments. We are at your place on earth and consider that animals are there for us and our needs.

PETA is an organization dedicated to changing attitudes amongst humans. They are against the use of animals for food or clothing, especially for what they see as unnecessary or particularly inhumane use of animals, such as killing or capturing their skins.

They are passionate about their cause. In his own words, PETA believes that animals have civil rights and deserve to have their best interests are taken into account regardless of whether they are useful to humans. Like you, they are capable of suffering and have an interest in running their own lives, therefore, are not on our use of food, clothing, entertainment, experimentation, or for any other wits.

We are held to a change in society. But how a developed society that feeds on the suffering of animals? In this case, we must commence to reassess our place in this country and can fit on any other creature that lives on.
